  1. Also to set out nodes accurately and evenly use the move by points tool.
  2. @khumennyHi, what i do is lay out a series of nodes at the post spacing i need and then draw the fence and click each node and this places a post at that location so spacing is correct. HTH
  3. @CiaMariaPia Hi I would use Auto hybrids if you have modelled the ceiling. See attached Make sure you understand the auto hybrid principle. See one of my videos for help on understanding setting up and using them. HTH https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zo3erdwpF40 Ceilings_v2018.vwx
  4. @cbergHi i find the workaround is to do either create a Roof and turn the other 3 sides from eaves to gables than you can use the knife to cut any angle you need. If you use a roof face you have to subtract solid to remove a section. Both cases you end up with either a solid section or solid subtraction though. HTH
  5. When you export a PDF you have the option to rasterize the pdf which converts it to a Bitmap which avoids the problem of converting it back to lines by using other programs,
  6. @GrahamT Hi You dont have this option ticked do you??? If so tick the one on the right of it.
  7. @josue Corona Hi if you cant find it you will probably need to hit the customise tab and pull the export PDF over to your menue. HTH

Hi, These are all the nodes i collected or made myself. HTH They are listed under the users i collected them from. If tiy put these in your workgroup folder in a folder called Marionette and restart VW and update library they will be available in the dropdown menu. Vwctorworks/(your workgroup folder)/Libraries/Defaults. if these folders fon't exist jut create empty folders so vw can follow to the files. Some will be out of date so see how they go.

  10. @GRZEGORZ Glad we could sort it, and looking at the way you did it also gives me more ways to do it. 🙂 Alan
  11. @Zeno Hi if you are trying to close the shape use the Bridge Mode, see attached. HTH
  12. @Jack Moleta Hi Still needs work to centre the plan in each site but i have added an if option so if the duplex is too long for the site to ignore it and leave the site blank. HTH Block Subdivision Marionette_004 v2018.vwx
  13. @willofmaineHi, your roof face component is set to .05 on the left one. will look at others later after work. Alan
  14. @Jack Moleta Hi, try this one. I guess the trick now is to delete the ones that don't fit into the site. Block Subdivision Marionette v2018.vwx
  15. @Jack Moleta@Jack Moleta Hi, Mulling over this one. If you draw a line down each site you can layout your plans on the line. Will continue to look at how to place each plan within each site. Alan Block Subdivision Marionette v2018.vwx
  16. @GRZEGORZ Hi again so i looked at the rectangle node and adjusted it a bit and it worked perfectly and objects sat on the line. I then got the latest node which is an upgraded one of the one you are using and substituted it and all works fine. see attached. I used a Locus with the original network rather than the rectangle and it sat perfectly on the line so i deduced that it must be the rectangle node so i change it then used the current node. Hope this solved the issue with the original network. Regards Alan ShapesOnCurve_002_v2018.vwx
  17. @GRZEGORZHi, had a look at my other network and adjusting the setting i can get the object to sit on the line. In your network it appears to be an issue with the width of the rectangle. If you make it 0.1 wide it will get closer, make it wider it gets further away. ShapesOnCurve_002v2018.vwx
  18. @jeff princeHi, this is how i create a pool. HTH https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NFKIif2lXgo
  19. @GRZEGORZWohoooo got it.See attached and its simpler than you think. Change the count on the range to get more items. 🙂 good luck with more and post if you have any issues. Alan 170312_01_v2020_v2018.vwx
  20. @GRZEGORZ Hi so i wasn't able to get your network to work but did with the assist of Some of DomC's nodes. The nodes you use says that thy return an angle tangent to the poly but the output is strange, not an angle but maybe a tan rater than a tan angle. Will continue to look. Always like a challenge. The output from the node doesnot appear to give an angle but 3point vector so it cannot be used to rotate by angle. Maybe someone else can resolve this brain teaser. ShapesOnCurve_v2020_v2018.vwx
  21. @GRZEGORZ Hi there is a node in this network courtesy of DomC that does what you want, I think. in your network take away the last delete and you will see the items on the line. Will look at later to get them to follow line perpendicular. HTH 170312_01_v2020.vwx 170312_01_v2020_v2018.vwx
  22. LOL i think you have a PC not a Mac which means you are not considered privileged enough to get the dark mode.:) only Mac users get it By the way I am a PC user. 😞 but 🙂
