@shyamsundar Hi you need to use photohp to adjust the light and dark sides to be the same. I often use the Clone Stamp tool to copy one side to the other. HTH

Hi again, In the 2026 Fencing tool you used to be able to right click and allocate a class now you cant, I had to cut and paste the class name in. Am i missing anything again? 🙂

Hi must be missing something again. When you put = in spreadsheed cell then right click you should be able to insert function then criteria. I cant seem to do this now by right clicking. Can you point me to the correct way to do this in 2026. Thanks in advance.

Hi Have an issue with text in a symbol. Rotate it 90 deg and shows sideways. Rotate it 180Deg and shows ok. Rotate 270Deg and shows sideways. Anyway any way to make it horizontal. Regards Alan Text Rotation.vwx

I seem to recall a tool that would extract a section of a wall surface within a room rather than the whole wall. Am i dreaming or does it exist? Thanks

@Tom W.Hi Thanks Tom cant play file it requires a HEVC Extension which i have to pay a few dollars for. But I added the file to the Defaults Standards folder as you said and this time restarted VW and all is good. Thanks for your patience, much appreciated. 🙂 Alan

Hi Thanks I must be a real NOOB. I can see the drawing but to bring in say 10 selected classes into a new file from my template file i cant see how to do that. Back to my original question click on new class and you see all the standard templated from which you can choose a number of classes. Navigate to my template file and while VW is open i can continually choose classes from template. Close vw and restart template doesn't show, so i have to renavigate to template. Would like it to stay. Aim is to choose multiple classes at a time and import. Thanks

@Tom W. Thanks Tom, I have put a .VWX file and a .sta drawing in this location. i can access it continually while i keep Vectorworks open, but when i close VW i have to browse to it. Would be nic to have it viible all the time. Thanks

Hi all. I know how to import new classes into a drawing but i have to continually navigate to the template drawing, the reference location stays while i have VW open. Open a new drawing i need to navigate to it again. How do i place the template file so it is always visible in this dialogue box. I have tried placing it in the server workgroup folder but with no success Thanks

Hi All and again Thanks to Vectorworks Australia for working out my issue . My graphics driver was way out of date. well if other have the same problem this should be the solution.

Hi Anyone have issues with update 4 when you try to render an elevation viewport it crashed the program everytime. Have tried it on Update 1-3 and all works fine. How can i roll back to a workable version. Thanks

Hi When you import to Twin Motion make sure you have double sided ticked. see attached
