  1. @DomC thanks a lot , using blue symbols works like a charm. but now there is a new problem : when converting the script to a marionette object the Get Symbole From node has no more the selection dialog with previews of the symbols. front marionnette 13.vwx
  2. This simple marionette script converts a symbol (polygon) to group but it will not work as a profile in the path extrude node. front marionnette 12.vwx
  3. The marionette object is visible in renders except for hidden line render in front view and with other objects in de drawing. What's wrong ? front marionnette 9.vwx
  4. Problem solved thanks to Antonio Landsberger's tip : I changed the symbols to 3D symbols and now it's working.
  5. All right ! I have converted the object in the symbol to 3d polygons and now it's working. Thanks a lot.
  6. Hi, This node works well in plan view but there is no output in any other view. Could it be modified or can I add some nodes to make it work in a 3d view? Then I think i can solve the problem in this topic :
  7. Hello Marissa, macOS 10.13.6 and VW 2019 SP4.
  8. How can I fix this : this marionette object works ok in plan view but in any other view, changes in the OIP will deform the object. There is also a problem with the node "get sym" : deleting some symbols in the file will also deform the marionette object. front marionnette 4.vwx
  9. I installed Service Pack 3 but can't find the settings for a path to create linked panoramas. found it in cloud services
  10. In a preliminary design, the thickness of a slab has not yet been calculated, so we choose a slab style with an approximate thickness. For implementation plans , the thickness often changes so we have to make an new slab style and substitude. And then we have to adapt the levels because of gaps or overlaps at wall heights. Wouldn’t it be a lot easier if the thickness of the slab is determined by levels (Top of Structure an Bottom of Structure). A change in slab thickness would be a simple change in the level set-up and all other objects like walls would follow this change automatically. There is another advantage to this : we don’t need a slab style for every possible slab thickness.
  11. The position tool for hatches doesn't seem to work for a hatch in a space object ?
  12. Sorry if I was not clear : With the space tool, I can show the room area, room name etc on the ground plan. Therefore the room name is entered in the field Custom Space Name of the object info palette . I do not want to enter the same name again in the data tab of the info palette because this is extra work ( I know : I'm lazy) and it could cause errors. So LOC='Kitchen' will not work because this criteria will search for the object name in de data tab. I was hoping this would work : =COUNT( (S='switch1') & ('Space'.'11_Space Name Cust'='Kitchen'))
  13. Is it possible to count symbols per space(name)? I know the LOC function can do this by naming the object the same as the space name but this may lead to errors. The goal is to count all electric symbols per room.
  14. Same problem here: I can only enter one serial number. It worked ok in the past now I have to re-enter the serial numbers every time i change the dongle. It would be nice if this could be restored.
