  1. This has been occurring with me for a while, but I seem to only notice it on old files (created before 2023 and upconverted). Unfortunately, this is our main workflow, updating shows each year without starting from scratch - especially if the scenic hasn't changed. Curious if there's any fix planned for this. Knowing it's been an issue forever, I try to edit the Instrument Summary only once a day or at the end of the project before publishing, so I can go get some coffee and wait 10 minutes for the dialog to open.
  2. I echo @fuberator's sentiment. I am seeking a similar solution; requesting that any newly-created Spotlight Lighting Device does NOT have its source "Turned On" by default... it's terrible to have to use scripts, visibility palette, etc to go turn them all off after inserting them (wasted workflow time). Just keep it off by default, and if any Spotlight fixtures need to be turned "ON" for a render, I am almost certain it is more efficient to choose which lights are ON - instead of EVERY light in the plot being on at once 🙂. Or a toggle radio button in File > Document Settings > Spotlight Preferences (just like there's a section to choose a fixture's default insertion angle) to help each user decide their workflow. A little toggle that decides if all new Spotlight fixtures are "ON" or "OFF".
  3. Not sure if this wishlist item died out but just chiming in to say this would be amazing. I make symbols to represent band carts / scenery on performance shows. It would be wonderful to not load the design space up with "layers" that only exist to show another instance of the symbol for the purposes of making a sheet layer viewport. If It could just be a "symbol viewport" drop down to select which view, and boom - instant detail views of this item could exist quickly and easily on a paper layout.
