  1. I am aligning all layer views. How do I turn on stack layers? I can go to top plan and select all and it affects all layers. I select render artistic with the set layer active and it renders the set layer only. I select align layer views and nothing changes. I select the lighting hang layer and select artistic render and the hang renders but the other layers disappear.
  2. I am still using Vectorworks 12.5 but this just started happening. I have both layers and classes selected to modify all, however, when I try to select anything in a layer I am currently not in I am not able to. Also when I try to render only the current layer renders. Any ideas?
  3. Where are the online exercises that supposedly accompany the training CD's through a link to your website. The link turns up an error message and all of my fruitless searches turn up nothing on the website. [ 05-13-2004, 02:13 PM: Message edited by: Katie ]

If this is an OS problem why does it occur only in the editable worksheet and not in any other noneditable worksheet?
  5. In the editable worksheet I try to edit the color of several instruments in a row. On other spreadsheet programs I simply hold down the mouse and drag down to select all the cells that I wish to enter this new info into. In Vectorworks this method does not work, even though a multiple of cells is selected only the top most cell displays and retains the information.I have a Mac OS 8.6 running VWS 9.
  6. I like to work with channel assignments rather than unit numbers. I have VW Spotlight 9 and wish to be able to manually channel the instruments. Is there a way to do this without having to create an editable worksheet and enter each channel individually? Also I created a 6 light parbar as a multicircuit unit and I want to twofer the pars together. Do I need to do this when I create and convert this instrument so that the characteristic is used globally throughout the plot or is their a way to specify that unit 1 and 4 will always be on the same dimmer?
