Our office is currently looking to purchase new BIM software. We have looked at ArchiCAD, Revit and now Vectorworks.
I have downloaded the 2014 demo, and have been playing around with it for a short time. I was hoping to get some feed back from users on both the pros and cons of the software.Both ArchiCAD & Revit are priced much more than Vectorworks, so I am concerned that Vectorworks would have some short comings.
I also would like to know how you handle the enlarged wall sections and details. Is it difficult to produce them. I found them hard to do in Revit. You were better off drawing them in AutoCAD and importing them into Revit.
