Thanks! I was able to fake it a bit, I made a rectangle, fillet(ed) the corners, extruded it, then used the 3d fillet edge tool for the bottom, added it to my extrude and subtracted solids. Thanks for your help I very much appreciate it! I'd attach a pic but i'm not sure how....

Hi All, I'm sure there's a simple way to do what I'm trying but it's not showing itself! I need to make 'flutes' in a flat pilaster Basically I have a 4 1/2" Wide pilaster i would like to put (4) 9/16' rounded flutes in that stop 4" from top and bottom. Is there an easy way to do this by subtracting solids somehow? Thanks all! Best, Andrew

I am having the same problem. I am up to date with Service Pack installs; I've also had a couple of the viewports go missing. Anyone else still having this issue? Best, Andrew

Has anyone here had any experience with the Micro3d printer? http://store.printm3d.com/ We draw a lot of custom mill work and wanted the option to print small profiles etc. We have not had any experience with 3d printing in the past. This seems like a pretty low investment to give it a whirl. Thanks in advance for any feedback! Best, Andrew

Hello all, Have any of you had any luck creating a stop chamfer on a 3d object? I'm drawing an island that has 4 posts with stop chamfer's on them and having a hard time figuring out how to properly do that in VW. Thanks in advance! Best, Andrew

Hi Jim, Thank you very much for your response. It unfortunately would not let me download it. This is the response I received: http://support.amd.com/en-us/download/incomplete I did try the AMD driver auto detect but it could not finish installing. Thanks again! Best, Andrew

Hi All, I'm new to vectorworks & the forum & have what i hope is a simply answered question! I work from two workstations, my desktop @ the office and a laptop at home. When I open a rather large file on my laptop my entire drawing is only visible while i'm scrolling and/or zooming. Has anyone else experienced this? Thanks very much.
