I recently had the same issue and found that changing to the Fundamentals workspace helped as a work around. Odd though that in a decade of using this program I've never encountered this issue. Thanks @Gunther for the simple suggestion.

I've checked for every update on my OS and VW 2018 and everything should be fine on a file I've been working on for months. Now suddenly my file crashes anytime I try to edit a curved shape, and eventually moved on to crash any time I do ANYTHING!!!! It's deadline week before Thanksgiving- I have no idea why I can't work on my file- I've tried renaming it, every restart, update, and work-around I can think of. I downloaded the most recent service pack last week. No issues on any files until today out of the blue. Mac Mohave 10.14.1, VW 2018 SP5. 18TEN01_3D_Gallery_11Oct2018.vwx
