  1. @JimW, I have remade the test from scratch in VW 2018 and the problem persists.
  2. Same file upgraded to 2018. I will recreate the file in VW 2018. Will inform how it went after I test with a new file.
  3. I totally agree with Tom Klaber. A proper workflow between Twinmotion and Vectorworks would be awesome! Archicad already has it. Why not Vectorworks!
  4. I would have liked this wishlist item to have been included in VW 2018...
  5. I would have really liked this wishlist item to have been implemented in VW 2018. It has not been yet implemented.
  6. Hi, can someone please explain to me when would I want to turn on the toggle for PORTAL in Indirect Lighting Option - Texture? Does this make an indoor render brighter and faster to render? I'm not sure on what this toggle does. A brief explanation would be greatly appreciated!
  7. Has this issue been solved already?? This error does not make it possible to produce nice looking grass in site models or in any other large 3d object with varying segments... Really hope this is already fixed!
  8. Jim, I checked the window class settings but it's not possible to do what I want. Thanks for you answer bcd. Your option could be used as a workaround.
  9. Hi, would anybody know how can I make the wall caps black and not grey (like the jamb of the window...) I've tried everything but can't get the wall to be a continuos black line. The widow interferes with its grey jamb.
  10. Would be nice to have a clip cube that could do stuff like this... Or is this already possible? How could one do this in a viewport or in a design layer?
  11. I really hope this issue is fixed in SP3! fingers crossed!
  12. Roadway objects should be cataloged as structural groups in a Section Viewport (or at least have the ability to do so). It is annoying when one has a section that contains a roadway and a slab or wall that are being sectioned. All objects appear properly sectioned (they obey the section style class) but the roadway object doesn't. The issue relates to the advanced section properties.
  13. @JimWPlease look at the stair using TOP as a view not Top/Plan. Then you should be able to see the problem.
  14. It would not necessarily mean the user interface would would get more complex. It would simply get more capable. For example, if one doesn't use stories in a project, the existence of stories doesn't interfere with the workflow. Stories just sit quietly under the organization tab. If you want to use stories then you can incorporate it into your workflow. Something similar should happen with "Buildings". How to assign the Buildings is the tricky part and should be studied the most. I think a feasible way would be to create a "Building" under the organization palette and then drag and drop the layers you want assigned to each particular building. In a way somehow similar to the the hierarchical display of classes...
  15. Vectorworks should have the option of not only Stories and Levels but also an option for Buildings. With "Buildings" on would be able to group stories and levels to buildings. This would allow more organization and control when working with buildings or structures in the same file that have different stories with varying levels.
  16. "Good" to hear that in your case also the treads are not aligned... Great! I hope they find a solution to it.
  17. @zoomerI didn't manage to make the upper treads orthogonal but I did manage to remove the weird meshing (via changing the outer radius)... anyhow, this is probably a bug as one should be able to draw the staircase with the exact dimensions one wants... I leave two screenshot so that you see what I'm talking about.
  18. I leave the VW 2017 File so that someone can take a look at the file... Crooked_Stair.vwx
