  1. The x-y editing box disappeared from the object info palette for a particular file I was working on. This occurs only for groups. The only information displayed for the group in the object info palette now is class and layer. When I go into the "edit group" function, the x-y box is available. The x-y editing box is available for groups in an older version of the same file and in other files. Is there a preference or a setting for the visibility of this feature? I recently upgraded to 9.5.1 on a windows machine.
  2. Is it possible to have one object remain in place and have the remaining objects move into alignment with it? For example, if the center option is chosen, the way the align/distribute tool seems to work is that all of the objects move to the centerline of the total overall outside dimension of the objects selected. If this can't be done with the align/distribute tool,is there another tool or procedure that will accomplish this? I have used a CAD program that allows you to select which object the others will align to, as well as which point--left, right, or center--on the stationary object they align to.
  3. I am using 9.0.1 with Windows 2000. When I dock the palettes on the left side they will not close up extra space between them. They keep adding extra columns to the side instead of stacking vertically as I snap them into place. I am working on a 19" monitor and I need to keep them as tight as possible. Is there a fix for this?
  4. I discovered this happens when I use the "wall tool" instead of the "wall type tool".
  5. Initial message should have read:I am using Architect 9.0.1. Using the Model>Select Wall Type dialog box: when I deselect the "Use Delta Z" box and enter a different wall height than the Delta Z previously entered in the Layers Setup dialog box, the walls drawn with the wall tool end up with the Layers Setup Delta Z height instead. Is there another setting I need to enter? Currently I have to select walls I've drawn and reset the wall height in the object info palette.
