When I select the instrument insertion tool to place a lighting fixture on my light plot. The following problem occurs:
First mouse click draws outline of lighting fixture symbol, but the entire reference grid redraws with a different origin. Second mouse click to finish insertion, redraws the reference grid to normal but draws the unit in a different location than the first mouse click.
What is going on? Why does it do this? Any ideas how there can be two separate origins to my reference grid? More importantly why isnt it placing the units where I tell them to go on the drawing. This is a major pain and really putting me behind as it takes a lot longer to draw a plot.
Please help me. I never had this problem before upgrading to Spotlight. Even with an early version of 9.0 did I see anything like this.
