    When I try to import a dwg file I cannot select import in the menu because it is grayed out and says "DFX/DWG import not in plugins folder". How do I get it back? I used to be able to import. I am using the latest build of VW 2014 on a new MBPro. I have been on VW since it replaced MiniCad, and then on MiniCad since v1. Mac Kerr

    I'll add my vote for a change here. I want to be able to get rid of the "type" column in "view as list". The truncated symbol names make my symbols unrecognizable. Mac Kerr user since MiniCad (no version number)

    I second that emotion. The Resource Browser has made me revert to VW9.5. My symbol library contains many symbols with similar names, and I like to view it as a list as the not to scale thunbnails are very distracting. Unless I make the browser window very wide the names are truncated and I can't tell them apart. I don't need to see the type, why can't I minimize it or just get rid of it.

    Having to create a new file in order to print hardly qualifies as resolving the problem. While I did not mentoin it in my original post, I have tried ungrouping and making all symbols into groups and ungrouping. i am on the road now and can't try that printer but exporting as Ver 8.5 and printing from 8.5 works fine. It is still not a solutionfor the problem of printing from Ver9. mac kerr

    I have problems printing to my Brother laser printer and also to "PrinttoPDF" from VW9. Sometimes only parts of the drawing that I got as .dwg's print, sometimes only text. I have tried over my network, which goes through an Asante FR3004 cable router with print server, and by direct USB connection locally to the printer. Both exhibit the same problems. All my other apps, including VW8.5 work fine over the network or direct. I have not tried VW8.5 to "PrinttoPDF". I have assigned 100M of RAM on my Mac PBG4 to VW9 and I have upped the memory of all the print monitor apps and I have 72M of RAM in the printer. The files I am attempting to print are fairly simple plan views of convention center and hotel ballroom setups. Mac
