I am running Vectorworks 2012 on a Mac. Occasionally, when I manually replace a broken link for a referenced file, I lose all of the info in the viewports that reference layers brought in from the file. The viewports still exist with all of the annotations, but are devoid of info from the design layer, and I have to re-create the viewports. Other times when I replace a link the viewports update perfectly.
I run into problems frequently when replacing title blocks in drawings, and the problem seems to be consistent within files. In other words, if this problem happens in one file then it always will, and if the viewports update fine in another file, then they always do.
Any tips for troubleshooting would be much appreciated, as this has been a periodic issue for quite some time!
