Thanks for the suggestion, though my version is up to date. Apparently the file will open with 2012, but not in 2010. I guess the newer version has figured out whatever glitch there was.

Anyone know what might be the issue when I'm trying to import a DWG file and I simply get the 'spinning wheel of death', and have to force quit Vectorworks? This has happened to me with a few files that people have sent me to use. I'm on a MacBook Pro Running OS X 10.6.8 Have 8GB of memory I'm using Vwks Landmark 2010 The file I'm trying to import is 1.3MB (I've successfully imported larger files). Any info much appreciated. Thanks!!
