Save as Window Spans past Full Screen
waynelocke replied to waynelocke's question in Troubleshooting
Thanks for the responses. -
In the last month when I do a "Save As" the window spans more than the width of the monitor and the resize arrows allow only increasing the width not decreasing. I have to move the window to access Cancel or Save. I can change the vertical distance. Open is also larger than I would choose but although it is not full width + I cannot change the width. This only happens in Vectorworks (2020 Fundamentals) and not other programs.

I have the exact same iMac (except 40 GB memory) and the same situation. I just changed the navigation graphics as suggested and will try resetting prefs if needs be. I am avidly following this thread.

Is that in 2020 Fundamentals? This is what I have: -
I followed your advice and restarted VW 2020 then Copy and pasted into a new file. Same thing. What does solid subtraction locked mean? What is the purpose? Anyway here is the file. It is just a small item to 3d print. More aggravating than anything.HG_2.vwx Thanks for looking.

Why and how did my solid subtraction become locked so that I cannot fillet the edges? How do I unlock it? I have right clicked and unlocked to no avail. I have also gone through all of the editing screens unlocking. What gives?

I have been battling this same foe over the last few days. This may not work for you. I am dealing with a texture mapped obj model of a hand and fore arm. The texture mapping was lost with any cutting operation. I finally exported the file as a Rhino file and then imported it back in. The file was much larger and problematic but after sectioning it I exported as an obj.
