Cool, thanks guys!

Hi all, Occasionally I see this magenta box in the drawing frame. It stays centered at the origin and, if I zoom in, contains dots along the grid. I can tell it represents the plane I'm working on but I have no idea how to toggle it on or off. I'd love some help, thanks. Quick question: when I try to do a Radial Dimension on an extruded circle in Vectorworks 2011 I get this error: "Diametral dimensions can only be on circles" I imagine I'm doing something fundamentally wrong; but I'm also left to wonder how I produce a radial dimension with a cylindrical solid. Help would be appreciated! Thanks Dan
