On my copy, the Move Page (Spot) tool is right next to the old one on the 2D Tools.
The problem, Kacey, is that the MP(S) tool is doing the same thing - units are moving but the accesories aren't. I don't see any difference.
Has anyone gotten this feature to work? I click on the unit and then click on the label as per the directions but then I still wind up moving the whole unit. Does this only work in the full version 9?
On to my next problem o' the day (though today it's been two):
Unit replacement doesn't seem to work at all. Even on an empty drawing, I place a unit, ask to replace it and I get an hourglass of death and have to stop the program with a three-fingered salute. I'm running the Windows version 8.5.2.
I'm pretty sure all of these things are correct so I'm going to send you the file to take a look at. You should be able to try the same thing I'm doing by making a small plot with 2 units and importing this data. Let me know how it works....
I'm breaking the rules a bit in this process but it seems to be working except for one step.
What I'm trying to do is to import data from an already existing Lightwright file into a newly created plot. I exported the plot data (units with only inst data, positions and unit #s) into a file which I then imported into LW. I then merged this file with the existing LW data file creating a new one that now contains both the VW external ID and the LW ID. I export this from LW and everything looks fine in the data file but when I then try to reimport this into VW, it says it is importing but the units aren't updated and no orphans are created.
Any ideas?
