  1. Forgot to mention that, i have created a symbol of the stretcher, header, stretcher which is the left side so i can quickly add these bricks in and have done the same to the adjoining bricks so shouldnt take long to piece together Craig
  2. Hi thanks for all the advice, i have attached a image of the start to the model i have created. By creating the brick size in front view then extruding to create the 3d brick, i then using the 2d polygon in plan view drew from the corner at a 5 degree angle, then extruding this i selected the two objects and subtracted solids in order to get the different angles. This is probably a very basic way to do it but seems to have worked as i am not very knowledgable with the programme! if you are wondering why the 4th course is blank i intend on having a straight course to diversify the shape. Thanks for the help everyone!
  3. Hi there i am looking to create brickwork similar to that of the 290 mulberry building, see the attached links. Does anyone know a way in which to create this style of brickwork using Vectorworks 2012 or 2011 either is fine.   4. I am using VW 2011 and the latest Rhino V5, i have created an object in rhino, exported as 3DS and then Imported it to VW however it seems to be 100 x smaller than the stuff i already did in VW is there any way to get it to the right size?

  6. I am creating a Dome shaped building using Vectorworks 2011, I have created the shell using the 3D Hemisphere tool however i want to cut the triangular windows out of the dome. If anyone knows how i will be able to do this as when i try it will only draw the triangle in 2d plan. Hope someone can help
