We have had mixed results with the Terrain models. Maybe Im not correct in my assumptions, but when your in the site model, there is an option to show both the existing and the proposed contours in the 2d Plan.
I've given the proposed and existing contours different colors to be sure. Even when I removed the site modifiers, and no proposed contours are created, my model then shows all the existing contours on the proposed line weight?
When I enter my pad and Grading boundary it shows me proposed and existing, but loses the existing contours lines prior to modification.
My hope was it would continue to show not only the existing contours and the ones that were modified, along with the proposed. (See photo 1 attached red dashed line)
I was able to find a work around by creating snap shots of the model and overlaying them, but this requires a bit of extra work.
When I run the model as is.... all you really get is the existing and the proposed. You can't actually see the where the existing contour was prior to modification (see attached photo 2)
Any way to generate this result from the model, without simply overlapping a snap shot of an un modified terrain model?
