We have tried this in 2014-2016 with no luck. We have been sent files in a DWF format. Vectorworks shows this as an import option but Ive tried with multiple files and continue to get the same error. I have attached the error that shows up along with the File Im trying to import. Any idea why the DWF wont import? Note: I attempted to upload the file but it will not allow me as it states the extension is not allowed (DWF) I have changed it to a dwg just to upload. You would have to switch it back top DWF. Any help would be appreciated. iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, Late 2014) 3.5 GHz Intel Core i5 16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3

Im sure most don't use it but Pazer CAD View Pack was a nice plug in as well. I've spoken to Matt in the past regarding a version that works for the 2016. Hoping maybe this would make its way in along with Camera Match.

Thanks Jim Ill give that a shot. Maybe I have these saved on a usb somewhere, Id have to go hunting and Im not optimistic. Anyways thanks for the quick response and support.

Is there any other way to get these beyond that? All our systems have been updated so this isn't a option for us.

So I have no way of getting the renderworks libraries for 2014 even tho we paid for the license it can not longer be used with render works? This is pretty disappointing as we have guys who use this on each version we run. Not everyone has access to all versions.

running 10.11.4 27 inch Imak 5k. Updated fully on vw 14. 16gb ram. Sorry it appears my post was moved or I was having trouble seeing it initially.

Ive downloaded and attempted to install in both ways described. However it never finishes the install. Gets stuck at 10% every time. Had no issue with 2015 or 2016 I noticed there is no install manager for 2014 on any of our machines? How can I get the Rendtrworks package to install? Ive tried restarting and reinstalling to no avail? Any suggestions?

Ive had this issue in the past, beyond multiple restarts there doesn't seem to be much I can do. Overtime I drag the library into the window to load it get stuck at about 10%. Never loads the libraries even if I double click as opposed to dragging in the window? I need to access this library but can get it to load? Any suggestions?

I think I just figured it out. Looks like your site modifiers must me set to "apply to proposed" to get the desired results.

We have had mixed results with the Terrain models. Maybe Im not correct in my assumptions, but when your in the site model, there is an option to show both the existing and the proposed contours in the 2d Plan. I've given the proposed and existing contours different colors to be sure. Even when I removed the site modifiers, and no proposed contours are created, my model then shows all the existing contours on the proposed line weight? When I enter my pad and Grading boundary it shows me proposed and existing, but loses the existing contours lines prior to modification. My hope was it would continue to show not only the existing contours and the ones that were modified, along with the proposed. (See photo 1 attached red dashed line) I was able to find a work around by creating snap shots of the model and overlaying them, but this requires a bit of extra work. When I run the model as is.... all you really get is the existing and the proposed. You can't actually see the where the existing contour was prior to modification (see attached photo 2) Any way to generate this result from the model, without simply overlapping a snap shot of an un modified terrain model?

this looks like something specific to Yosemite and VW 14. All the yosemite workstations do not seem to replicate this issue. Oddly if I open with 16 the issue disappears, however if i export back to 14 its still there. This has to be a bug of some sort? VW 14 SP5

We are in VW 2014 latest service pack. Another machine next to me has no issue. He is on yosemite, and I am on EL Captain. Any thoughts? This is really annoying when you can see the layer name in the organization window. Any suggestions appreciated!

We still use layer import referencing for some of our jobs. Recently we starting noticing thatonly the reference layers in italics are not visible in the orginization window. They show up in the drop down, but thats it. Ive tried deleting the reference file and relinking, but still no luck. Any ideas here. See attached photos

Well I stand corrected. It starts to install then progress bar dissapears still no library.

Looks like the SP 5 pkg took care of this. Good to go.

OK last question. I have downloaded the renderworks library. I have tried double clicking and dragging onto a new document. No progress bar no library....What am I missing here?

Looks like it kept everything where it should have. I guess I lucked out all my plugins were located in the user folder

What User Folder are we talking about. Can you be a bit more specific?

So I just added the renderworks package. One of our employees left and I took over that serial number. I did this on both Version 14 and 16. Worked fine for 16, in 14 i have a red X where the renderworks Camera is? What Gives?
