Hello Community, I am having trouble with a dwg I imported into Vectorworks ( 2022 SP5 - Spotlight ). The entire drawing is made up of viewports. I am not able to break them down like I have in the past. I can edit design layer within the VP but then the design layer is made up of symbols on symbols and it is making it difficult to explode apart. I have run into the vp issue with other dwg's but I have not had this much trouble exploding them. Just checking to see if I am missing something on the import? Any words of wisdom would be appreciated.

Well now I decided to quit and restart VW and the turning off of the non-plot seemed to take effect. Crisis averted. Thank you sir!

Good idea, I will take a deeper dive into the actual drape base file.

Hi Pat, Thanks for the quick response. Non-plot Loci is set for invisible. Thoughts?

Is there any way to turn off the locus points that show up on thinks like drape bases, projection screens etc? See attached.

Yes sir, the issue was it being unresponsive and staying locked open. It would open and close as it should when I open a drawing and then it locked open after a few minutes of use. Since then I have updated my OS and the Service Pack and the issue seems to have gone away. Thanks for the follow up.

My resource manager expands and collapses a few times after initial opening and then gets stuck open. I try clicking on the "+" symbol and it is not responsive. I have also tried turning off / on the resource palette with no success. The only fix is to restart the app but again that only lasts for a short while then the resource palette gets stuck open again. Anyone else experiencing this issue? iMac Pro OS ver10.15.7 VW 2022 SP3.1

Not sure the reasoning for making this feature more complicated then it needs to be. I'm tired of having to come to this forum for help on so many aspects of 2018.

Morning all, I am getting a page move "error" message when I try to use it. Asks me to make sure "plug ins" in in the apps folder which it it is. Just wanted to check if there were any quicker fixes out there then reinstalling the software. Regards, gs

Thanks Michael, I should have posted I know how to do it file by file but for some reason some reason I thought there was a "batch" way to do this. Maybe I have that wrong.
