  1. I've just enabled it.... but it's the same. there aro no objects outside the general drawing.... I mean... what do you call the "drawing border". To recenter the image hat I do is: 1-select all 2-Fit To objects this goets me to see my draing in full screen... so I don't rhing there are any objects far away.... Thanks anyway!
  2. Another glitch I find is that the horizontal scroll bar at the bottom of the screen is always on the far right corner even if the drawing is centered. That prevents me from actually scrolling right as I'm like "outside" the scroll bar boundary. When I try to scroll right using the mouse, the scroll bar or the arrows next to the bar, the image jumps to the right "edge" of the drawing which is something like 500 points to the left of my actual drawing. I can only pan to the right using the "pan tool" any ideas? thanks!
  3. Hello All, How do I make the coordinate 0,0 be in the same position for the design layer and for the sheet layers? Right now they seem to be offset by 25k points or so. When I switch from one to the other I have to reposition my view all the time.... thanks!
  4. Thanks Pat, it was the SP.... I had SP1 but auto update was disabled. As soon as it checked it downloaded and installes the SP5. Now everything goes smoothly. Thanks again!
  5. Hey All, I'm working on a 20'' 2009 imac with VW 2009. What's happening here is that when I use the mouse zoom (that is OPTION+SCROLL WHEEL) the drawing does not zoom smoothly but rather does something very weird. It appears to be "graphically" zooming the drawing (not the whole screen, mind you, as in the system's "screen zoom" option, but inside the VW drawing window). After I finish the scrolling and the zoom stops I get a large pixelated drawing. If I use the "pan" tool and pan it just a bit then everything goes back to normal and I get the drawing zoomed in as I requested. It seems to be some kind of redraw bug.... anyone experiencing it? Any workarounds? Thanks! regards.
  6. That's it! Thanks Ray... it was RIGHT there... I feel stupid now... hehehehe. Again Appreciate it.
  7. I redraw the sketch please obviate the dots ...._______ ....I..........I________ ....I______I............ I ............................I.............. _______ ............................I_________I.......... I ...........................................I_______I thanks.
  8. Hi All! First post on these forums.... I'm a newbie but I hope I can give back something some day... Anyway, I'm trying to replicate what Autocad does with it's "STRETCH" command I have some vertical and horizontal lines wich connect two rectangles in different heights. _______ I I________ I______I I I I _______ I_________I I I_______I I need to move apart horizontally those rectangles while keeping them connected. In Autocad what I would do is use the stretch command to move the rectangle and if I selected correctly the tip of the horizontal line would stay attached to the rectangle but the vertical line would stay where it is. Is there any way to do this in vectrworks? Thanks!!
