  1. @Nikolay Zhelyazkov Another thing that would be nice to make the sheet management complete, would be to find a way to enable the "page setup" in the "Sheet Layer" to get tied to the "sheet size" in the "Title Bloc Style"...Full automatic sync when switching sheets!
  2. Wow @Nikolay Zhelyazkovthat was impressively quick! Thanks for this interim fix...makes me wish I could code!
  3. So this seams like a bug for me, if you try to use the "Title Bloc Manager" to update the Sheet Style to use another style (top left drop down) the Title Bloc component updates but the Sheet Size and Border remains unchanged. Oddly the OIP shows the newly selected Sheet Style name. But if you go to the newly selected Sheet Style and edit to check if the border is controlled by "style" and not object, upon exit the sheet updates correctly. Has this been submitted as a BUG yet, it's kinda a big reason to use the new Title Bloc Manager? Thanks
  4. It really is no mystery, look over here at how few and sporadic ISV certifications they have with AMD, I could not even find anything on NVidia ?https://www.amd.com/en/support/certified-drivers?keyword=&f[0]=application%3AVectorworks While Pro GPU’s are supposed to guarantee software compatibility AND performance, I have never seen VW specifically pushing PRO GPU’s probably because they so not have the resources to test. I as a user I am currently forced to take a gamble, needing a PC upgrade I went with an AMD Radeon Pro W6600 as it has an ISV but I am going to miss out on any Redshift integration in VW unless they get it to work.
  5. Well I just ordered a bunch of parts for a new PC system including an AMD Radeon Pro W6600 so I'm hoping Vectorworks and AMD will assist in the development for future GPU support. Here is from my communication with Maxon Redshift team direct explaining why AMD on MAC is supported quicker; Email Quote; From: Netinho Da Costa (Maxon Support) Nov 12, 2021, 2:49 AM PST Hi Patrick Fritsch, I'm sorry for that. For PC it's currently under development, we don't have a specific ETA for that yet. With macOS AMD support, for example, we had some help from apple developers. That's why that was finished a bit sooner. Netinho Cinema 4D | Redshift | Red Giant Maxon Support will soon be removing some incoming email channels. Make sure to bookmark our support portal to create tickets.
  6. Ah this is exactly what happen to all my walls and slabs the other day...how did you repair ? I ended up salvaging what I could from a backup of my file...please don't say you simply closed and reopened the file... Thanks
  7. I’m in need of a new Workstation so all this has brought on problems as it’s hard to even get an NVidia GPU…but I can get a AMD Radeon Pro W6600 at a decent price but would like to know if Redshift will ever work with it. From the Redshift site they said like a year ago that AMD support is coming but no updates as of today? If Vectorworks is integrating this I am hoping they would have a clear roadmap from Maxon? Any insights appreciated.
  8. Really like how Jim spells things out here. Could someone update this and let us know if these guideline still hold true in VW 2022.....?
  9. Sooo archaic to still have to put legends on a design layer to have consistency....
  10. Yoo Hoo! over there at VW...got some catching up to do. Kind of an important tool to drop the ball on for a couple years!
  11. Created a heliodon and then changed it classes, it showed up fine in the OIP but something stuck with the originbal class I created it on. If I turned it off, I then lost all shadows. In viewports that did not have the original creation class active, shadows were lost and heliodon disapeared in the Visualisation Palette. Solution was to change it back and forth between classes and magically got fixed....only wasted 2 hours trying to figure it out. Geez! Ok wrong, back at it again and it was following another class, but solution was the most obvious (Friggin Occam's Razor!); delete old heliodons and just create new ones!
  12. Hi I'm trying to import these bicycles from the Ressource Manager and I get this error message saying it canot import? I've imported many other resources with no problem. Tried in a blank document, no success.
Hi Dom, could really use this but does not seem to work in VW 2021? I upload my text file but get no spaces returned? Thanks,
  13. Nothing working yet, there is this new Message at the top of the videos to download Quicktime 7.... hope this is not their solution as it's unsupported by Apple.
  14. Hey Juan, thanks for the speedy response by the way. Check here https://web.dev/fixing-mixed-content/ you need to try it outside your office... security compatibility
  15. Looks like there's 15 errors and 2 issues, see bottom of image, mixed content blocked in Chrome?
  16. I have tried to play these videos on all my browsers and none want to play. (Firefox, Chrome, Edge and iOS). Let me know when fixed. https://www.vectorworks.net/sketchtobim
  17. Can someone at VW tell me what method is Energos using to calculate the U-Value of wall/slab styles, Effective or Nominal? I know it’s pulling the lamba for each component but not sure how it’s adding them up...I suspect Nomimal as framing type and spacing is not specified in the styles. If so I will just use the U Value override with my own effective calcs until this can be done in Energos. Thanks
  18. With the rising need and advancement of the Energos tool, can we have a forum section dedicated to this tool. The search function is not fun. Thanks,
  19. Is there any future development planned for Energos? Currently I see a lack of; Usage documentation explaining each input parameter. Advanced training webinars or Service select training. Real world compliance certification with any Environmental Design standards (Even the ones available in the dropdown menu are not certified) Here in British Columbia Canada, we now have the BC Step Code https://energystepcode.ca/about/ that we need to comply to. So Energos would need to have been tested with ANSI/ASHRAE 140 "Evaluation of Building Energy Analysis Computer Programs". Kiddy up VW! This ball of mud is melting as it spins!
  20. Add to your list that it does not makes sense to have the control handles for up/down text on same floor, should be controllable on each respective floor...it's like a guessing game position the upper floors text currently. see attached.
  21. Again, it's a basic tool that ALL designers need to use and it's been neglected by VW so they choose to put resources into currently useless point clouds, virtual reality and mobile Nomad junk that does not event work....All the Bling Bling will end into a Bang Crash for VW
