  1. This is painful, attempting to connect/combine roof slabs and getting multiple crashes, disappearing geometry and textures.....Where is SP 1....Geez!
  2. Objects are losing their texture, like a roof slab, but when I toggle it's render mode in the OIP it comes back. I'm not filing bug reports for all these as their are WAY too many and the bug submit process is way too long...and nobody from VW is paying me ! So hopefully they are monitoring this forum or these bugs will persist.
  3. I am unable to select "pick boundary" in the IOP under the "2D Boundaries & Area" section. I can select it but it does nothing and reverts to manual.
  4. Same problem here, I suspect the new ability to allow working as geometry is being computed is causing havoc. Navigation is choppy no mater what I set VW navigations preferences to (Best performance or compatibility or both)... Waiting patiently on SP1
  5. Just to follow up. Autoturn's Tech support logged into my computer w/ Teamviewer and resolve some sort off unexplained bad connection. What we did was in the Autoturn simulation window on the top left there is a button to "open autoturn online in browser" and voila that somehow gave be access to all the vehicle selection in the default simulation pop up window as shown below.
  6. Pulling wall sections details, from our 3D models, for detailing in the viewports still feels like one BiG 2D workaround instead of a proper thought through efficient system.
  7. I thought 2019 was advertised as multi threading, but when I leave task manager running on my second monitor I only see it using one?
  8. Using a Custom curb at junction only and a Nurb road for the rest got me closer but the Custom curb slope control limitations still make the junction messy and amateur'ish. I feel there should be a join tool for the Nurbs Roads to do intersections just like the wall tool, then in 3D we can adjust the Z height of the stations.
  9. Jim, bumping this request again, as i'm struggling with it again. The Custom Curb road tool needs to allow more control on a sloped terrain DTM, it is not very useful as I have almost no control for the direction of the slope, only numeral input in IOP. Below are some images of what I mean.
  10. Matt you should sell VW that script for a millions bucks at least. I've been whining about the detailing tools for SO long now.
  11. I believe this is still a BUG in 2019, If I "Send to surface" extrudes or generic solids that are in a group only one object goes to the surface and other time they both go if they were not duplicated geometry. Here"s a before and after shot.
  12. Jim W could you confirm this. Related to this bug I think. VW is not remembering settings like when i disable the cropped perspective view in document preferences and "save as" my file.
  13. The roadway is acting up if used in Viewport annotation (I do this for quick schematics). If you draw a road type at first it works but then if you try and change modes from the roadway dropdown it refuses to change modes (Eg; from straight to Nurbs road type). I've tried in a blank template and reproduced this behavior, can anyone confirm.
  14. I'm only getting only vehicle in Autoturn, signing up it said we would get 3 and I also don't have access to the Demo pack I signed up for? See attached screen shot.
  15. Dido, same here. Did any of you already file a bug submit?
  16. Thanks Jim that did it. Is their a way at initial install to avoid the "New tools" toolset, as i'd rather they be in their respective toolsets?
  17. The VW held documentation tells me to log in under "menu-AEC-Autoturn" but it's missing. What are my options, re-install?
  18. Like the title says, Anyone else getting this? It renders fine in Open GL if I create my section viewports from the model in Layer space.
  19. This tool seams half baked to me and it's usage intent is not very clear either. I attempted to create a heavy timber truss as shown below and it was impossible to draw in plan view and elevation so I just went back to using the old framing member tool....I will harp on my opinion again that ALL the detailing tools in VW are limited and archaic. Go see Archicad's detailing capabilities.
  20. Please get inspired by sister Archicad's detailing tools in section viewport abilities. As i've said before, VW is pretty old school when it come to details tools.
  21. Don't forget to improve the stairs handrail and guardrail flexibility. I've previously posted here guards that do not transition well at landings in U shaped stairs where the risers are in line at the landing. In residential especially, the handrail and guardrail do not need to be continuous, and can rather be sections therefore this U shaped stair should be possible as it is quite common.
  22. Wondering if this will help when the "hunting" of surfaces when using the Push/Pull tool?
  23. This is what I like to see, making VW functions that already exist better in lieu of adding extra new shiny buttons to my design cockpit!
  24. Still hoping for more efficient detailing tools...geez their old.
