  1. I am trying to make a window wall for a model I am currently designing. Using the WindowWallStraight tool, it is rendering solid- showing no glass? Could someone please shed some light on this tool or give me a small tutorial to get me started. All assistance is highly appreciated, thanks in advance.
  2. When I am rendering with "indirect lighting" the render finishes with an incomplete render, and a mass of black dots. Could someone please advice the problem? Thanks in advance!
  3. I am looking for assistance please. I have a .MAX file of a light fitting I need into vectorworks. Would anyone be able to convert this for me or explain how? Thanks in advance.
  4. Make sure in the Attributes palette, the solid option is selected.
  5. I am working with a large file with lots of detail, resulting in the programme "unexpectedly" crashing a lot. Is there a way to reduce file size? or would changing the format of objects to symbol or any other ideas? (and any ideas submitted, would this reduce render quality?) This is causing great frustration and i would much appreciate any help. Thanks.
  6. I am looking for the best way of achieving this effect. I want to apply an image, (one image) accurately split across the surface of 5 boxes. ( so when boxes are put side by side they make one large image.) what would be the best way to achieve this? Thankyou in advance.
  7. ah thanks! thats exactly what im looking for! thanks for all your posts.
  8. Looking for help please. I am looking to draw a (1000x2500mm) chesterfield wall texture. What would be the best process to do this?
  9. sorry.. they are sketchup files, when i am in vectorworks i am trying to import them to the opened vectorworks drawing. when they have been imported all textures ad materials are lost leaving (the previous sketchup file) a white model in vectorworks.
  10. Sketchup version 7 from vectorworks menu > export > sketchup
  11. I have been exporting models from sketchup format to vectorworks. Only problem i am having, when they are exported all materials and textures from exported model are lost? am i doing something wrong? replys asap please..
  12. ah great thanks, and also.. i have managed to import 3d warehouse objects to vectorworks but they seem to be loosing their material/texture/colours and transferring as pain white objects?
