  1. I am trying to create a fast render works rendered floor plan that is cut at 6' ht. I can do this in the design layer using the "clip cube" and rendering in open GL, however, it does not render the textures like I like in fast render works rendering. Any suggestions? Thanks in Advance. VW2013 MAC OS X Processor 2.7 GHz Intel Core i5 Memory 4 GB 1333 MHz DDR3
  2. Ya, I tried to uncheck "saved viewport cache" but no difference.
  3. Ok, my referenced viewport, viewports are rendering really slow. The viewports on the sheet layer are just enlarged 2D plan views, not 3D views. The original file is 31.9MB and the file with the reference viewport is 10.4MB. To big? Also, we imported a revit file into the original drawing file. Would that slow it down? We have also purged the file several times. Any suggestions?
  4. There ya go;) I can submit it as a bug. Thanks for your help.
  5. Sure. I attached the schedule. I am not sure if this is the correct way to set the worksheet up but I have set it up to give those in our office the option to edit the finishes using "spaces" or edit the finishes inside the schedule itself. However, 2011 I cannot add edit the single cells under the columns that have a function (i.e.-=('Space'.'Floor Key') associated to the spaces "assign room finishes" dialog box. Is there a way that I can edit these cells both inside the worksheet and/or inside the space?
  6. When I create a new room finish in the "Assign Room Finishes" dialog all of the other finishes (i.e. - Ceiling, wall, baseboard, floor) change back to the default finish. Is this a bug? Thanks in Advance, Heather
  7. Hello all, I am wanting to enter text into a single cell on a worksheet that I have created that has a database function associated to the entire column. Is this possible in 2011? I used to be able to do this in 2008. Thanks in advance, Heather
  8. Chris Thanks for the tip. I did not realize I could create a section view port via the design sheet. As for my problem of the markers disappearing when I try to change them in the design layer....I will have to draw them in the annotations. No big deal;) Thank you for all your help everyone!!
  9. @ Jim - Yes I can change the section elevation markers in the annotations layer in the viewport using both the "section elevation marker" tool and using the "create section viewport" tool. However, if I try to change the marker in the design layer in either instance the marker disappears. @ George - Did you report the bug? If so what was the outcome?
  10. I am having issues with my section elevation markers disappearing when I try to change them via the OIP in the design layer. I can only change them if I draw them in the annotations layer. This also happens when I create a section viewport. The section line and text still remains. Is this operator error, bug, or something else? Thanks in Advance, Heather
  11. So I am finally getting to play around with VW 2010, which I found has some awesome new features. However, I have a few questions about the drawing coordination feature that automatically corresponds information on drawing labels, title block etc. when a VP is created. 1) When I insert a "stock" title block with drawing boarder, the sheet number in the TB does not update to coordinate with the sheet layer sheet number. Is there a step I am missing? 2) When I insert a drawing label on the floor plan, in annotations, then move the VP to a different sheet the label does not update. Is it supposed to? Thanks in advance for your responses:)
