    Thanks for the Photoshop suggestion...

Thanks to you both. I have thought about the hole idea as a last resort but it's not quite the look I was going for, looks like somethings missing. I also have adjusted the transparency and shininess but again I haven't found what I'm looking for, Just a hint of glass. It's either coke bottles or milk so far. I'll keep trying...

Using a powerbook g4. vw8/rw8. I am creating a display case with glass. The glass I've tried so far distorts the inside of the case dramatically . Clear plexiglass I 've tried is too foggy. Do you have any suggestions for a nice undistorted clear medium? Thanks

(Microsoft Office and Adobe Photoshop, for example, are each sold for only one platform.) One thing you might consider is getting VirtualPC, which will at least be cheaper than the VectorWorks upgrade, and will allow you to run Windows software -- such as your current version of VectorWorks -- on a Mac. Thanks for info and the idea. I'm am working on my options.

This does not seem fair to me considering that I paid good money for this program. I bought the laptop so I could travel and work this week and getting an upgrade by mail is going to cost me time and be a pain in the ass as I fly around the US. That is considering that I do indeed buy it. This is not good customer service.

If you are a registered user, you can probably get any serial numbers you own by calling customer service. Thanks for the reply. Of course that makes sense. I was hoping to get to work this weekend but I guess it will have to wait.

  8. I just bought a new Mac Titanium G4. I have been using a desktop PC with Vectorworks 8 and Renderworks until now. I want to use the programs on the G4, however I no longer posess the little stickers with my serial numbers, only the discs. When prompted by Vectorworks for serial numbers I tried putting in the ones I see at launch of Vectorworks on my PC but it claims they are invalid and asks for the serial numbers on the back of my discs which I also tried to no avail. Please advise. Thankyou
  9. That's great thanks for the help! quote: Originally posted by csherpa: Perhaps a silly question, but how do you create glass of different colors and transparency. Also, is there a manual for Renderworks? Thank you
