    I know how to export a VW drawing as a DXF and DWG, but when I open it up in AutoCAD the lines and hatches are not the same and all over the place. Can anyone help on how to achieve the correct way of importing VW files into AutoCAD?

    In VW 2008, When printing, there is a small border which is all around the edge. How do I change the settings so that there is no border and the ink prints right to the edge of the paper?

    DWG import

    I have problems with importing DWG's into VW 2008. Once I import it into a new page, I double click in to the viewport - copy the drawing then paste it to my VW template but it comes out a totally different scale! Any ideas how to import it to the right scale?

    Everytime I export a drawing in Vectorworks 2008 as a DWG then open it in Autocad it is fine apart from when I copy it and paste it into another Cad drawing. It then shows no symbols i.e doors etc and then I have to re-scale it. Is there another easier way of importing dwg's from vectorworks and what's going on with the symbols?

    Im trying to import a digimap DWG to 1:100 scale into Vectorworks 2008, can someone tell me how to do this?

    Does Vectorworks come with standard symbols? How you import them?

    Everytime I print A1 prints from Vectorworks 2008 to my HP 550 printer, it crops the right hand side of the drawing. Only printing about half of my title block. AutoCad prints perfectly from the same computer to the same plotter, I dont understand! Can anyone help?? Operating system: Windows Vista

    I have the same problem. My plotter only prints half the page and crops everything on the right hand side of the page! I tried unchecking the GDI but it still doesn't work.

    No, Im not really sure how to do that.

    Its in Landscape setting and using an autocad plotter driver on my HP. So do you think that is what is causing it?
