  1. I am a new convert from VW2008 and Sketchup for 3d. I'd like to go all VW2011. I would like to have the flyover tool behave like the pan tool. Meaning that I would like to use the middle click function on the mouse to flyover and rotate the view etc. and when I release, go back to what I was doing before. (it is how it is done in sketchup). Right now, center click is the pan function which is the same as the space bar (what I have become used to). I am using a Magic Mouse and I do have BTT (I preferred it to magic prefs though I am willing to switch back if it makes a difference). Needless to say I am on a Mac. Thanks for any help or suggestions. Bob
  2. Forgive my ignorance, but I have really never made or worked with vectorscript. I have tried to create the scrip you wrote, I copied and pasted Starting with PROCEDURE PrintDate; "into a new edit window, changed the field names as described and tried to run, but nothing happened, not even an error. Obviously the script works and I have done something wrong. any help would be appreciated. thanks in advance
  3. I am trying to build a template that will have the correct date and file name in the title block when it prints. I followed directions on how to build the title block as a symbol and I can manually put in the information on the border info pallette, but I would much prefer if it updated automatically. Is ther a code so that when I attach the records the info is automatically entered? or when I print that it updates? Any help would be appreciated.
  4. I do small drawings. Usually able to print on a single page of my laser printer. However, I add to drawings, making a second or third page not knowing in advance how many pages I will need. My question is: when I add to the print area, VW moves the page breaks so that the center of the drawing always remains in the center of the paper. For example if I add one page to a single page the drawing that I just made to fit a single page is right on the page break. Is there any way to lock the first page, say to the upper left of the print area? Thanks
  5. I seem to be having some problems with VW9. It might be me, more likely bugs, but here goes: I can't dimension an arc. The only way I can do it is to draw the complete circle, dimension it and then delete it. When I try to dimension using any part of a circle, (top left side etc.) it always snaps to the center. The break line tool just does not work. I can't even select it from the pallette. When I copy from one drawing to the other, dimensions always go to the wrong class. The center mark tool, even though it is drawn in the right class, has the wrong attributes (line weight and color) Any help with these couple of things would really help me thanks
