does it work with a 3d connexion mouse. i looking for a way to have clients view 3d models on the screen and it would be great to fly through. i have a model of a few building and various underground utilities and would like to fly around the campus.
ok... i meant for 2012. i did a lot of modeling with the push pull tool in 2011 and found switching the active plain to be cumbersome, not any more for 2012. WOW!
1. verify existing walls, floors and model (get this right)
2. layout guide lines in plan (get this right)
3. establish treads with guide lines
4. extrude treads and set at correct height
5. make some vp sections to verify that treads work
6. establish hand rails make 3d extrude along path
7. connect rails to tread and make any corrections
8. do risers and any fancy trim etc
9. fine tune
make as many section vp as needed to see every corner of this stair system
do not use the stair tool
while i sure there is a difference, the big question is
"is there a noticeable difference when running vw?"
macmini duo core i5 or i7
or
iMac quad core i5 or i7 (i hate paying for a screen since i have 2 already. that is why i like the macmini)
i want to avoid paying for extra and then be told "vw does not take advantage of that yet"
any comments?
i have did so a few weeks ago and also sent the file. was hoping that someone would get back to me, but no one did. so i took an hour of my time and figured it out.
to be fair, i emailed it to bugsubmit@nemetschek.net is this not the way to do it?
AndiACD, thanks for the suggestion. i'm not really stuck. there is a few ways to do it and i found a work around...but the detail cube would really be a great improvement
