  1. Thanks but I don?t think that is the problem as I have tried with the same model to do a very short ?walk? and kept all the settings at low levels to try experimenting. I still get the same problem as with the longer walk through. The camera is not pointing exactly at the saved view but off centre so that I do not see part of the view and am seeing a part of the rest of the page (blank) on the other side. The video goes to the end of the walk through but every frame is pointing off centre of the view. I wonder if it is anything to do with the placement of the page. But I have tried setting both origin and page to the centre. JIm
  2. Should have added VWArchitect with RenderWorks 2009, Mac OS 10.5.8 QuickTime Pro 7.6.6
  3. I have made a model (a long corridor) saved camera views at each end and an intermediate, I have then created a walk through animation using the three views. When I do a preview of the animation all looks fine but after hours of rendering and saving the video the result shows part of the view and a blank white area as though the rendering is only looking at two thirds of the saved view, one third being off camera. Can anyone help please?

  5. Apologies to all who had already given the info on the Revert button. I had not seen the replies before posting my previous note.
  6. So now I am answering my own question. It might be useful for any one else who comes up with this problem of changing settings in Viewports. You cannot change back to Class Colour directly from the Edit button but the Revert button changes the settings back to the original (even if the change was made previously - I had assumed that it would only revert to the setting of when the drawing was last opened.
  7. Thanks but the document settings as appear on Design Layers are fine. It is the settings in Viewports on Sheet Layers which are apparently not reversible to Class Colours as would be set at creation on the Design Layers.
  8. Vectorworks Architect 2009 SP4 We have a default document which was set up in an earlier version when the Advanced Edit option of Black and White Only was not available. To achieve the equivalent each Class had been edited to colour Black. As we now have the advanced option I would like to set all the Classes in the Viewport back to Class Colour and use the global advanced option to create B&W prints. Although in the Viewport Class edit box the colour can be changed it does not appear to give the easy option of Class Colour. Are there any shortcuts or is this an omission in the edit options?
