I'm looking for some quick fix here. I have presentation on Sat am and I just upgraded to VW 2010 Architect. I would be classified as a "hunt and peck" user! Regardless in the past for a presentation I would bring my lap top, open a model layer then flyover or walk through a open gl rendering. Usually I would show up with a few preset views. I don't know how to do that with view ports since when I go into crop it reverts to wire frame. It is also very difficult to adjust the view in wire frame for still shots. Can someone help?
Thanks

Thanks, I'm going to give that a try!
On the upgrade front I consistently upgraded every time there was a new release, starting probably 10-12 years ago. Then my computer was old so VW ran very slow and I new I needed to wait to buy a new computer. Hence missing VW2008. Now I've got a new computer but the cost is double to upgrade...catch 22. This is not my primary drafting program so it is, unfortunately, a luxury. I imagine by next year they'll make me buy a new seat.

Greetings,
I am trying to import or use windows that are grouped and factory mulled in pairs or more. For example I have a pair of double hung with 4" trim around and only a 2" divider. How do I do this? BTW-I'm using version 12 (upgrade way too expensive for an unemployed Architect)
Thx
General Lighting for Interiors
in Rendering
Posted
Greetings,
I wonder if there is a way to get some light into my interiors so that the ceilings don't render almost black when I walk through. I have used VW as a secondary program and I just can't master placing all the interior lights to get a good effect and I don't have the time to mess with it. I would settle for no shadows at all rather than the dark ones I get when I put in a couple of lights. Right now I leave the ceiling off but often the ceiling is a major part of the interior affect.
Any way to dumb this down for me? No problem with exterior and manipulating the sun.
Thx.
