  1. its definetely a modelling issue, because i've taken it in to c4d and its the same story, punched through on some wall but not others
  2. this image shows where the door is punched out of one wall and not the other.... this is driving me loco!!!
  3. hope you guys are seeing in the test file what i'm seeing, some of the doors are visible in open GL and some are not
  4. sorry mate, thats not working for me. even if they are the same colour i should still be able to see them in open GL. they don't seem to be punching a hole in the wall.
  5. getting so frustrated, i've been adding doors to a wall which are viewable in wireframe but disappear in open GL. if i copy the door from another wall which is viewable it disappears in the new wall. copied wall into new file and the doors appear again... aarrrgghhhh!!!!!
  6. i have fundamentals, i'm finding i'm limited on the style of door i have. is this because.... i have fundamentals? If so is there a way to download more door styles etc?
  7. i managed to get it working by downloading the plugin direct from the maxon site. cheers tho!
  8. just wondering if someone could tell me what the latest version of autocad drawings which 2009 can import? Cheers
  9. Anyone? the plugin i added was vwmelangeexport.vwplugin i then edited the workspace editor to add it to the top toolbar.
  10. just got 2009 and trying to export to c4d. The plugin is where its supposed to be but when i export i don't get a prompt for options on the export. Any one any ideas?
  11. Ok i'll try moving it. Also, i'm having problems with the export to cinema4d. When i export its not giving me an option to select classes or layers and the resulting import in cinema creates material called "AnonMat255_255_255_0.000000e+00". The file structure of the model becomes fragmented.
  12. none at all, ive copied the 3d model into a new file and its crashing when i export to cinema 4d. I converted the solid subtraction to a mesh and now its rendering in open GL. but still crashing when i export.
  13. sorry, yes this has been created directly from 2009. However i have imported a dwg. The new way in which 2009 has imported the dwg is new to me. Everything is grouped and a little more difficult to work with. Also, When i export the file to cinema 4d, its crashes. I've imported the dwg as i would have done in 12.5.
  14. Thanks. sorry i was just using quick reply.
  15. yeah, i just did exactly what i would have done in 12.5
  16. Hi i'm new to 2009, i was using 12.5. When i subtract a solid and go to view it in open gl its not rendered, only highlights the wireframe when i hover over it. can anyone tell me why? Cheers.
