  1. I have a serious problem importing some drawings. More specifically, some drawings from some people, who seem to be using AutoCAD 2009 or whatever the new version is. I am using VW 12.5 (on Mac OSX 10.4.11). I receive a file (saved back as .dwg 2004-6, 2000, whatever, doesn't seem to make a difference). Using Import>Single DWG, I set up units, scale etc. correctly, it seems to go through the import process properly ("converting 269... of 1001 objects until it reaches the total) and then opening as normal. The problem appears here, where there are either no objects as was the case last time I had the problem, or a few (the same objects whichever version of the drawing I import) this time. All classes appear correctly and are switched on. Objects on sheet layers also seem to be there. Nothing/very little shows up on screen though. Command-A and zoom extents don't pick anything up. If I purge, all the classes disappear, implying that there really were no objects. I have opened the file in other programs, and the objects are actually there as, counted by VW import. Spent all day on this file, so any brainwaves, pleeeeease!
