Make sure your workspace file isn't read only. If you copied it from a CD to your workspace folder it would make the file read only.

Try unchecking "snap to default" in the mouse control panel or if you have a programmable mouse in your mouse program.

I have to say I think VW9 works pretty well,running win2k 900 mhz. Had some problems with installation, took a couple of tries to get it stable. This is the first release of a major upgrade, in the history of VW and any software in history it is always buggy and I had that in mind in upgrading. Some things make it crash and learned not to do that (isn't there a famous joke on that line?) After the first couple of days it did not slow me down, in fact I think the new tools increased my speed. I am looking forward to 9.1 though. ------------------
