I've turned off click drag in Vworks preferences but this setting remains ON even after I've turned it off! I've restarted Vworks and even my computer, this problem is still not resolved. This IRRITATES me to bits, PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!

Hello! I am converting a folder of 12.5 files into 2010; they will only convert if "convert in place" is selected; this is really annoying as I then have to go back into the file folder and delete the "old vectorworks" folder that is created, along with the text log. I have a big number of folders to convert, so this is an issue. I found that including the subfolder option did not work either, in fact it deleted all my files.... If anyone can help, that would be amazing!

Crap. It didn't work... I guess I'll have to look at the formulas but it's all rather confusing, they were written in excel for Vectorworks well before Viewports were introduced. I think this is where the problem is but honestly, not QUITE sure how to fix this... At least it works the old way!

Hello!, Currently testing 2010 and am having issues starting "Model Set-Up". I open a blank document and try to start Model Set Up but I get an error regarding LayerNameStds worksheet, apparently there's a problem and it can't run without it. I attached a screen shot. How do I fix this? Thanks!

Our floor plans are for large scale expo-like events and our worksheets are customized to count/summarize information about different areas of the floor plan (what we refer to as ?modules?) and its associated scenic objects. The worksheet counts our scenic objects by class and symbol name ie. flats, risers, drapery, furniture; in addition to power information (ie.ciruits) and communication lines (ie. phone lines and internet in offices). The drawing uses layers to organize the different objects ie. flats are on a different layer than furniture. Classes are used to separate the different modules of the floorplan. Little technical data/info is attached to records within the symbols. Finding discrepancies is easy this way because we can sort by class. Our worksheets function in Vworks 12.5, I tested with 2008 and they work just fine. Our question now is: Will our worksheet count items in Design Layer Viewports? We are considering counting in a shuttle file that references our main plan and plans for other building floors. We?re hoping viewports will cut down on a lot of cutting and pasting that is currently involved in our tedious process, particularly because we deal with 7 different Vworks worksheets. I guess there is no way to know unless we try!

I have Vectorworks 12.5 and have problems printing a pdf of a page that has an image as a background. I'm using viewports and the image gets interrupted. If I print the same page as a hard copy it comes up correctctly. Did it happened to anybody before? MS
