Has anyone seen a "Breakpoint Application Error" when quitting VW 2021? Every time I quit VW, I get a pop up window that says: Vectorworks2021.exe - Application Error The exception Breakpoint A breakpoint has been reached. (0x80000003) occured in the appplication at location 0x00007FFFA8F52B49. Click on OK to terminate the program It does not appear to be impacting performance, and google has several suggestions related to other programs, but before I start trying random fixing, I wanted to check with the experts. Running VW 2021 Spotlight on Windows 10. Thanks! chad

I am also curious if File Tabs are available on Windows?

Is anybody using Lightwright6 with Vectorworks 2016? Is anybody using LW6 with VW 2015? I am still in LW5 and VW2015, I have held off on upgrading to VW2016 after reports from friends who said if was slowing down their machines, but I am wondering if LW6 will work better with VW2016. I don't see much about this on the message boards, thoughts and advice welcome...

I am having this EXACT same issue. Did you ever find an answer? It was working fine and then it just stopped letting me overwrite files. After doing some exploration I have been able to figure out that the issue only seems to occur in certain folders, some folders allow me to save just fine, others give me the error. (it seems that the newer the folder the less likely it is to let me save correctly) This is only a problem with VW Files all other files save and overwrite without any issue. How do I fix this possible folder permission issue?

Is there a way to manipulate the x/y coordinates of a lighting symbol via worksheet? For Example- I would like to have X/Y Symbol insertion Coordinates Columns on my instrument schedule worksheet and be able to quickly adjust light placement in the spreadsheet mode and have it update the drawing- Does anyone have info on how to do this?

Is there a way to reset a label legend? For Example- I have a legend with the channel directly behind the light- then I move the channel (on a single lamp) to the left to get it out of the way of another unit- Is there a way to get the Channel to "snap" back to its original location later?

I just spoke with VW Tech Support- This is a problem they are looking to solve in the next release (which they could not tell me when it would be available- (I wish I would have known I was beta testing 2010 before I bought it) Whatever happened to releasing software when it is ready. Hummmmm

In previous versions when a symbol name was incorrect the symbol would appear as a default rectangle- for some reason in 2010 they just disappear? Is there a way to set up a default symbol for lamps with symbols that are not in the file?

I am in VISTA 64 and Can't Import any sketchup files : ( - PLEASE HELP.

Michael, Thanks for the Help- I figured out that I CAN Copy and Paste from Excel as long as I am not copying into SUB-ROWS (wish I could copy into sub-rows) BUT if I import the excel data into the worksheet I can copy into Subrows for whatever reason. either way issue solved for now (although this does seem to add more work for me) Thanks to Michel K

I am still missing the good old editable worksheet from VW12. Please help. VW2009 will not allow me to copy a group of cells from an excel file and paste them into a worksheet. It wants to put all of the cells into one cell rather than distributing them.

Can I sort a worksheet by multiple fields? In VW12 I would used the Editable Worksheet by selecting a Position and sorting by unit number, but in 2009 I can't figure out a way to view and UPDATE a worksheet sorted by position and then unit number. Please help. (I bought 2009 at LDI, but have had to use VW12 due to this issue.

Does anyone know where the Create Editable Worksheet Function Went in VW 2009? I use it to select a group of fixtures, make edits and update plot. Now with my upgrade I cant find it? Also- Where is documentation to get me up to speed with my upgrade from v12 to 2009. chad chadrjungdesign.com
