  1. This is amazing. I would love it!
  2. Yes, I believe you are correct. That is how I have been doing it. I was just hoping that the new tools would make my life easier. Thanks for the attempt Peter. Shawn
  3. Yes I have tried that. It shows the walls at full thickness (4.5" thick, 1/2" Gyp Bd, 3.5" Stud, 1/2" Gyp Bd) What I would like is for it to show the stud thickness only (3.5" stud) Any other thoughts?
  4. Has anyone had this issue? I have been playing with Wall Components Classes and I find how this works to be irritating. I draw a wall using a Wall Style (say an interior wall with gypsum board on each side). VW does this well. However, I was taught NOT to draw the finishes in a 1/4"=1'-0" drawing because it: a) makes way too many lines on the page and increases confusion about what item is actually being dimensioned to. b) the carpenter building the darn wall needs to place the structure first (thereby needing to know the dimensions to studs, concrete, etc. Not the gypsum board, stucco, siding, etc.) So when I turn off the the Wall-Component-[finish] classes the finishes become invisible. But the wall line weights change thickness at the wall joins. In addition, I would like to be able to enter a jamb thickness that tracks in the Window/Door schedule Worksheet, but does not show up at its full finish thickness in 2D Plan view at 1/4"=1'-0" scale.
