  1. I have just tried running the update procedure again this morning (at 11:40AM AEDST) and SP2 installed just fine this time. Yay! The only thing that I did differently was to disable ESET Smart Security while the update was being done. With kindest regards to all, David
  2. I might just be that someone else who is looking for an answer for an update problem! I am trying to update Vectorworks SP1 to SP2. Everything appears to be progressing well until that generic "An error occurred etc etc..." popped up. I checked the UpdaterLog file and there appeared to be a couple of points in the installation that threw up errors; more than just Windows denying an overwrite permission. So I re-installed Vectorworks, checked for updates again to download a fresh file and then tried to run the update as Administrator. With the same unsuccessful result unfortunately. Would the fact that I have just upgraded from Vectorworks 2009 have any bearing on the matter? Many thanks for any suggestions, David (Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit)
