  1. My elevation drawing is "sketchy" each time it is opened, even though it has been saved under Rendering as "No sketch" each time it is closed. How can I set the default to "No Sketch" on this drawing so I don't have to modify it each time I open it? Is there a setting that needs to be changed? VW2008 Architect SP3, WindowsXP
  2. Every time I open a particular drawing (a building elevation) it appears "sketchy" even if I have previously saved and closed it without the sketchy option turned on. How can I change the default so it will open with "No Sketch"? I'm using VW2008 Architect SP3 (Build88670), running WindowsXP on a Dell Precision 370.
  3. I've solved my own problem. Using the "Import Single DXF/DWG File", under 2D/3D Conversion there is a warning stating "Some of the text objects in this file will be deleted to keep symbols from becoming hybrid. Consider using All 2D option instead". I used the All 2D option and the text finally imported properly.
  4. I have imported a .dwg from a land survey company in VW Architect 2008. I lose the spot elevations text and contour line text each time I import. The spot circles and contour lines are there, but the accompanying text is lost. I've tried countless things rescaling, importing as layers instead of classes, isolating classes but they text never appears. I use DWG TrueView to look at the .dwg file and the text is shown on the document. Any suggestions?
