    • Hey Boh,   I thought I never solve this problem. thank you very much! I needed to delete the crop and now it shows the section with filling. Is this a bug or just vwx standard? The z height is correct. I just need to adjust the DLVP depending on the 0-point.   Thanks. Eva
    • @Bruce Kieffer In addition to above, another idea to explain why the conditions are reversed when the model is pasted into a new blank file - In the orig file selected wall OIP:
Visible walls Top Bound = Layer Elevation
Invisible walls Top Bound = Layer Wall Height (or maybe the other way around)
      Probably also:
      Layer set up (Nav Palette):
Design Layer tab>Edit Layer (the one with walls)> Layer Wall Height is set to a value greater than zero
      In the new blank file
OIP Height>Top Bound conditions are reversed for each wall.
      And/Or
Design Layer settings in Nav Palette have Wall Height =0 (default, I think)   Or some combo of layer settings and wall OIP top bound settings causes some some walls to have height = zero making them invisible, except in Top/Plan.   As usual, just guessing -B
    • helps to create some fake sun light objects for the building faces that aren't likely to see any sun. Generally use line and shadow here with lines set to 0 pixels.
    • Hi Jeff, Which fixed corners are you using? I'm happy to take a look at your file if you'd like.   I've just uploaded a tutorial video to YouTube showing how I did my corners and octagon, if you're interested.
    • I am making a similar octagon, but with fixed corners. Had to play with the "Customize" features until I got the geometry correct.  I used the "Edit 2D Symbol" option to take as exact measurements as I could for L1, L2 and L3, and then make minor adjustments with the "Customize" button in the OIP.   I'm struggling now with Braceworks coming back with "The static system could not be calculated".  All connections are being made, and the motors are connecting properly.  Frustrating when it tells me there is a problem, but won't tell me what it is.
