If you are speaking with Technical Support about an issue that causes Vectorworks to crash on Mac OS X, you may be asked to send in a crash log. Follow the steps below:
1) Open Finder. The Library folder for your User account is hidden. The easiest way to display it is to open Finder, then hold down the alt/option key on your keyboard while clicking "Go" from the menu bar, then selecting "Library". NOTE: this is NOT the Log folder directly on your Macintosh HD.
2) Look in the DiagnosticReports folder:
3) Find the most recent files whose names start with "Vectorworks" and end with ".crash"
Please send those files via email attachment.
4) To help increase the likelihood of these issues being addressed quickly, follow the instructions HERE on how to enable Detailed User Logs as well.
