On some versions of Windows Vista, Windows 7 and Windows 8, you may encounter this error message when attempting to launch Vectorworks for the first time:
If you do in fact have QuickTime installed, then normally all you will need to do to resolve the issue is to set Vectorworks to Run as Administrator.
To do this, simply right click on the Vectorworks icon, then choose "Properties"
Under the "Compatibility" tab, check the box at the bottom for "Run this program as an Administrator".
If that fails, simply follow this procedure to uninstall and reinstall Quicktime.
