Vectorworks, Inc. has released its eighth update for the Vectorworks 2025 product line. This update includes the following quality improvements that enhance your everyday experience with Vectorworks 2025.

- Improves general stability.
- Improves compatibility with macOS Tahoe 26.
- Improves overall stability when opening complex, georeferenced projects that use referenced building models.
- Improves copying and pasting graphic legends.

- Improves IFC operation type information for windows and doors.
- Improves handling of colors exported in IFC for objects inside auto hybrids.
- Improves support for BCF platforms Smino and BIMcollab Zoom.

Architect, Landmark, Spotlight
- Improves reliability when editing story reference heights in shared project files.
- Ensures that sheet layer annotation data tags in shared projects keep their associations to objects, so the data tags do not unexpectedly revert to default text.
- Corrects data visualization, so spaces with internal holes display properly.
- Improves the Data Manager’s handling of space finishes whose names contain commas.
Installing the Update
This update is available as a downloadable updater for all U.S. English-based versions of Vectorworks 2025. To install the update, please select Check for Updates from the Vectorworks menu (Mac) or Help menu (Windows).
