Vectorworks 2025 Update 5 Available for Download

Vectorworks, Inc. has released its fifth update for the Vectorworks 2025 product line. This update includes the following quality improvements that enhance your everyday experience with Vectorworks 2025.

  • Improves general stability.
  • Resolves an issue that caused some images to appear black when running on macOS 15.4.
  • AI Visualizer improvements:
  • Improves the UI.
    • Resolves minor performance issues.
    • Now uses the Vectorworks Single Sign On (SSO).

  • Improves stability and reliability when importing Revit files.
  • Improves the IFC export of walls, slabs, roots, and roof faces.
  • Improves IDS model validation.

  • PixelFLEX – New LED displays and stands.
  • Simpson Strong-Tie – Structural products symbols library.
  • Vitra – Updated furniture symbols library containing dining tables and office chairs and tables.
  • Rainwater Tanks – New rainwater collection symbols from Design Express.
  • Top Knobs – New cabinet pull symbols.

  • Improves the stability of the Curb and Hardscape tools.

  • Data tags in Single Eligible Object mode can now associate with wall components in 2D when the object is rotated.

    • Techo-Bloc – Updated products in the hardscape pavers and textures library.

  • Data tags can now read data from objects in schematic view.
  • Improves the reliability of Showcase viewports when no video sources are available.
  • Improves how adapters are inserted for newly created cable objects.
  • Improves the conditions when the selected distributor output is displayed for the Cable tool.

Installing the Update

This update is available as a downloadable updater for all U.S. English-based versions of Vectorworks 2025. To install the update, please select Check for Updates from the Vectorworks menu (Mac) or Help menu (Windows).
