Vectorworks, Inc. has released its third update for the Vectorworks 2025 product line. This update includes the following quality improvements that enhance your everyday experience with Vectorworks 2025.
Important Enhancements

General
- Improves general stability.
- Resolves an issue that caused the Radial Dimension, Angular Dimension, and Arc Length Dimension tools to fail in viewport annotations.
- On Windows, fixes a problem when selecting classes in the Object Info palette.
- Published PDFs no longer trigger unexpected warnings when opened in Acrobat.

Redshift lighting effects improvements:
- Lit fog density now responds consistently to the smooth or realistic falloff setting for each light in a scene, even when lights have different settings.
- Spot lights with realistic falloff now have the correct brightness.

- New Vectorworks and Bluebeam cloud integration.

Architect libraries:
- New Andersen 100 Series door and window catalogs.
- New Haworth Furniture seating symbols.

Architect and Landmark
- Site model improvements:
- Enhances site model performance.
- Resolves issues when applying grade limit and spoil pile site modifiers.
- Improves the stability and performance of the curb object.
- Resolves issues with the reporting of hardscape projected and actual surface areas.

Landmark
- Positions plants appropriately with the Plant tool’s Triangular Array mode.

Landmark libraries:
- Updates the site modifiers of the River Pools and Thursday Pools libraries.
- Improves the nomenclature of Landmark symbol libraries.

Spotlight
- Improves MVR export speed and quality.
- Improves the way soft goods attach to rigging objects.
- Accurately displays speaker array top bumpers in Top/Plan view.
- Properly shows Gobo, color, shutter, and beam spread for conventional lighting devices in Showcase.
- Fixes cable power calculations when a generator is single phase but the power load is calculated on three phases.
- Corrects context menus when selecting a rigging object for a video screen.
- Better adjusts cables connected to lighting devices when the trim height of a truss system is changed, changing the height of the lighting devices.
- Adds data access script functions for cable sections and cable breaks.
- Adds snapping for Eurotruss FD33 trusses.

- Updates DTS Lighting with Tenore and Soprano lighting device symbols.
- Updates Spotlight sc © lighting device symbols.
- Adds ROXX lighting device symbols.
- Adds Elation SFX symbols.

ConnectCAD
- Improves the performance of 3D rack groups with different width 3D racks.

Vectorworks Cloud Services
- Adds the ability to save views within the web portal’s 3D model viewer, allowing for customization of the initial loading view, as well as for creation of a curated walkthrough experience.

Installing the Update
This update is available as a downloadable updater for all U.S. English-based versions of Vectorworks 2025. To install the update, please select Check for Updates from the Vectorworks menu (Mac) or Help menu (Windows).
