    Vectorworks, Inc. has released its fifth Service Pack (SP5) for the Vectorworks 2022 product line. This update includes the following improvements and bug fixes.

    Improvements and Fixes

     

    • Improved compatibility with the most recent macOS Ventura Beta release
      • Fixes delays that occurred when selecting File > Print or selecting Printer Setup from the Page Setup dialog box
      • Resolves issues with some obscured menu items in searchable list browsers
      • Restores the window-shading function when mousing over undocked Resource Manager, Object Info, and Navigation palettes
    • Marionette fixes
      • Correctly displays object nodes created with an earlier version of Vectorworks
      • Facilitates working with third-party Python libraries in Marionette
    • Resolves error messages displayed when:
      • Editing the viewport of a Vectorworks file, opening the referenced file, and then returning to the viewport
      • Using the Fillet Edge tool to click an object edge
    • Fixes an issue causing Vectorworks to crash when creating referenced viewports
    • Correctly displays clipped wall geometry in files that have been exported to IFC4
    • Restores the ability to show/hide polygon and polyline edges drawn with complex line styles
    • Highlights the snapped surface when inserting a lighting device into a truss, a straight truss, or an extrude
    • Fixes the ability to update referenced DWG files without causing a delay
    • In ConnectCAD, displays proper socket sizes in files created with an earlier version of Vectorworks
    • Fixes the ability to display drop-down lists and edit the values listed in the Criteria dialog box
    • When selecting a hatch or a line type from the Attributes palette, the previously used resource is selected in the resource viewer pane of the Resource Manager
    • Fixes backward compatibility issues for data mapping in the Data Manager
    • Removes the offset of the title block border when the user origin location has been moved
    • Fixes issues with the Undo command
    • When using the Attributes palette to change fill styles, restores autosave after the number of operations specified on the Autosave pane of the Vectorworks Preferences dialog box
    • Resolves issues with the Vectorworks customer portal libraries page
    • Fixes Reverse Direction with custom polylines

     

    This service pack is available as a downloadable updater for all U.S. English-based versions of Vectorworks 2022. To install the service pack, please select Check for Updates from the Vectorworks menu (Mac) or Help menu (Windows).

    Hello

    I have very big problems with SP5 and OSX 13 (Ventura)
    The program hangs completely on references, seating tools, etc and also won't close or save. Can anyone share this experience? Or ideas to solve the problem?
