  • Vectorworks 2020 SP1 is now available for download

    Vectorworks, Inc. has released its first Service Pack (SP1) for the Vectorworks 2020 product line.

    This Service Pack includes multiple fixes and improvements in the following areas: 

     

    • A large number of general stability improvements, including DMX patching and editing Braceworks trusses
    • Significant improvements in the following areas:
      • Annotations
      • IFC functionality including export speeds
    • Improved GIS workflows for users with an Esri ArcGIS account

    • Support for multiple Data Visualizations

    • Numerous fixes involving undo operations
    • Fixes to issues related to object rotation

     

    This Service Pack is available for all licenses as a downloadable updater. To install the Service Pack, please select "Check for Updates" from the Vectorworks menu (Mac) or Help menu (Windows). For a full list of fixes and improvements in the 2020 SP1 updater, please visit HERE.

    Please note this Service Pack is currently available for all non-localized English versions.

    The VW 2020 SP1 is not downloading correctly, it stalls at 50% then goes very fast to about 80% & stays and says error & to contact tech support

    @Dubman please contact our tech@vectorworks.net with the last 6 digits of your serial# and Operating system. We should be able to help.

    Juan, the tech support was not able to help, they kept saying it has to do with my permission & to try down load it as Admin. This did not work either. This morning, I selected Repair in the Advance selection in the VW down loader & it worked. I have never used the Repair selection before, but make perfect since that it should be the first thing to try.
