UPDATE 01/23/2013: ZeoBIT support has stated that Vectorworks has been added to a safe list of installed programs and will no longer be affected adversely by MacKeeper. Make sure your version of MacKeeper is updated to Version 2.4 (201) or later.
The software application MacKeeper developed by ZeoBIT for Mac OS X has a number of functions that can hinder or completely disable Vectorworks. Users of Vectorworks are advised to not use MacKeeper at all for the time being.
The features of MacKeeper that seem to cause the most problems can be disabled individually in MacKeepers settings. Users wishing to continue using MacKeeper should, at a minimum, disable the following components:
- Binaries Cutter
- Cache Cleaner
- Internet Security
- Data Encryptor
