Vectorworks, Inc. has released a Service Pack for ESP Vision 4.0.
This Service Pack includes multiple improvements and functionality solutions in the following areas:
Rendering Performance: We resolved the issue causing rendering speed (FPS) to drop to half or more of the potential in many situations.
Color Mixing: We dramatically improved the color mixing of beams with respect to ESP Vision 2 versus ESP Vision 4. Colors shouldn’t “wash out” as much as before.
Rendering Quality of Gobos/Light Beams: The resolution of the light train computation has been greatly improved to 4x the original, and resultant beams in the air have much more detail.
Additional Improvements and Updates:
- Improved adaptive quality of beams
- Corrected gobo gaps o Resolved gobo rotation and offset
- Better compartmentalization of exported scenes
- Fixes to gobo shake and patch window
- Improved DMX UI for recorder/playback
- Improved Candela inheritance on attachment’s/attached fixtures
This Service Pack is available for all licenses by running the internal updater.
