    UPDATE 09/20/2024

We have tested the released version of macOS 15 Sequoia with the release versions of Vectorworks 2024 Update 7 and Vectorworks 2025, and at this point, we have not encountered any issues, and can confirm that Vectorworks is compatible with macOS 15 Sequoia.

    SECURITY NOTE:

macOS 15 introduces enhanced security measures for local network access. Applications must now request permission the first time they attempt to interact with devices on your local network. Vectorworks requires this access to support the Network License Manager (for G-series licenses) and the Project Sharing Server. When you see the local network security alert, be sure to grant Vectorworks the necessary permissions to ensure these features work correctly

    --------------------------------------------

As part of our ongoing commitment to ensure seamless integration between Vectorworks products and the latest operating systems, we have been testing the upcoming Apple macOS Sequoia with Vectorworks 2024 and 2025.

Vectorworks 2024 and Vectorworks 2025 have performed well, with no significant issues detected during this beta phase.

While the preliminary results are promising, it’s important to note that Sequoia has not yet been officially released. We cannot fully predict any additional changes or features that Apple might introduce between now and the final version of Sequoia.

We will update the official system requirements for Vectorworks 2024 and 2025 after the final release of Sequoia. This will ensure that all potential changes in the final OS version are accounted for, providing our users with the most accurate and reliable guidance.

Please stay tuned for further updates following the official release of Sequoia.
